Also, read newsgroup alt.bbs.listserv (the list servers administrators
newsgroup).  You can also read *.newusers newsgroup.
I haven't started a new newsgroup in a LONG time.  There are only about
6000 of them out there right now.  It's about 2 million postings/day.
