My son is only 12 years old and he (and most of his friends) know how to
"cruise the boards". He was keyboarding in kindergarten. He is a product
of an average public school system.

Today's kids think it's easier to use a computer than it is to use a pencil.
The boys seem to really love gory stories. The girls like adventures
based on rescues. Say hello to the nentiendo generation.

Most kids I know would rather play nintiendo or sega than watch
television. They are drawn by the interactive characteristics. This may
be one of the most interesting culture shock/generation gaps since the
telephone and the automobile caught on with teens in the 1920's.
