Well, of course.

* The newspapers that a few years ago hired web hosting companies to host
their newspapers' websites are now hosting their newspapers' websites
themselves.

* The stations that are now providing streaming media feeds to aggregators
such as Broadcast.com will soon be broadcasting by themselves.

* And the publishers that today are using outside hosting companies to
distribute plain-text or HTML emails will soon be hosting and distributing
those services themselves.

The reason is a combination of Moore & Marx. As Moore's Law causes hardware
and software costs to plummet, it becomes more and more economically
feasible to operate services internally, rather than contract an outside
firm to provide those services. And, as Marx pointed out, a capitalist
business makes the most money if it owns its own means of production. The
trend thus becomes obvious.
