I share your skepticism/cynicism. That's why the topic interests me. People
have been searching for a great sustainable business plan. However, others
have been spending much of their time talking to investors and positioning
their companies for the most successful IPO. As a marketing person, I'm
intrigued by who the target market is here.

I do not necessarily see a strong correlation between website quality and
investment income raised. Some of these sites have relatively little to
offer and yet they have been able to raise considerable amounts of money by
selling themselves to investors.

Makes you stop and think.
