My browsers h-page have been set to the Washington Post for more than a
year now....

But I rely on bookmarks to get around, more than 500 organized into more
than 30 folders.  The news-sources I use most depend on the headlines in
the e-mailed links they send me; CNET does this well, but others do too.
This approach works best for me.  Tying myself to just one portal makes no
sense for my usage patterns; but I can see how it MIGHT be convenient for
many users, particularly newer users.....but I agree with Mike, it is an
industry development phase, not a final solution....
