Thanks for your comments, Robyn.  "Seashells" are a gift exchange in some
cultures (in explanantion of the "seashells" comment.

Just a brief share (yea, right, ames).  I reflected today on what happened
with my friend, Robin.  A lot of what happened appeared to be sibling "stuff".
But then I realized that a lot of what Robin and I do when we're together over
any period of time is play bicker.  (He's the friend I was with and the whole
course went out to lunch).  And then I realized  - Robin and I do this shtick
to avoid the intimacy of our friendship (it's a longstanding friendship, not
romantic)..  So hmm.  And now I'm wondering and inquiring (alien research)
into where else in my life do I do shtick (of whatever nature) to avoid
experiencing intimacy. Any thoughts for yourselves?
