Long Distance Direct Announces Strategic Alliance With IDT

PEARL RIVER, N.Y., July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Long Distance Direct Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: LDDI - news) announces that it has entered into a strategic alliance with IDT Corporation (Nasdaq: IDTC - news), a major supplier of Internet and telephony services. Under the Agreement embodying the alliance, IDT is making an initial infusion of loan capital with conversion rights into the Company's shares. 

As part of the Agreement, LDDI has entered into a Carrier Agreement with IDT under which IDT will provide the Company with a range of telephony services at highly competitive prices. This Agreement is in addition to the Internet access supply agreements previously announced. 

To support the alliance, IDT has assigned a number of personnel to work with the Company on various of its projects, with special emphasis on the Company's contract with NBC/ICRS, a company in alliance with Deloitte and Touche LLC, one of the world's major accounting firms. NBC/ICRS-is involved with the marketing of ``best in class'' services, which includes telecommunication services for the Deloitte and Touche LLC client base. These personnel will be located both at LDDI's offices and at ICRS' headquarters in California as well as IDT's own headquarters in Hackensack, New Jersey.
