Hi, I'm Warren Adams, president and co-founder of 
PlanetAll, and I want to thank you for using PlanetAll's
"active" contact management service.  We have some exciting
new and improved features that I want to share with you.

It's been just two years since Brian Robertson and I sat
in a friend's kitchen and first put the idea for PlanetAll
down on paper.  Wouldn't it be great, we thought, if there
were a service that made it effortless for people to keep
in touch with their friends and colleagues and the groups
they care about?  What if users could maintain an online
address book that was kept up-to-date by the people in it?
Even better if this address book could also tell users 
when anyone they knew would be in the same place at the
same time?  Two years and a lot of sleepless nights later,
we are thrilled that over 1.5 million people agree that
such a service is indeed valuable to them and have become
users of PlanetAll's contact management service!

- New Features -


We are continually working to improve the speed, usability,
and functionality of our service.  Many of the best ideas
come from customers like you who send feedback to us at
feedback@planetall.com. Included among the improvements
we've made recently are:

- Calendar/Scheduler Enhancements - 
Users can now create meetings with anyone on the Internet,
and view their schedule in a daily, weekly, or monthly
format.  Your calendar contains fully integrated email
reminders so you will never forget a birthday or
appointment, and you will never miss a chance to see a
friend when your travel plans overlap.  Start using your

- Change-of-Address Service - 
PlanetAll has always notified all the people you know about
your new address.  Now, through a partnership with Before
You Move, you can notify the US Post Office, your credit
card companies, magazines, catalogs, frequent flyer
programs and alumni organizations simply by updating your
contact information in PlanetAll. (This service is available
to U.S. residents only.) If you are about to move, check it

- Improved Groups Area - 
Our users have created over 100,000 groups on PlanetAll,
including employer groups, alumni groups, book clubs and
more.  Once a group is created, users can post messages,
find people they know through these groups, and network
with users who have common interests.  In response to the
growing popularity of our online groups, we have partnered
with Delphi, a leading Internet messaging service, to
greatly enhance the features of our message boards.  Keep
an eye out for this new and improved service.  Also, don't
forget that you can start your own group, and remember to
invite your friends to join.

- HTML PeopleNews Email Updates - 
If your email software supports HTML and you don't already
get your PlanetAll email updates in HTML format, simply
send an email to html@planetall.com and you will
automatically be upgraded.  HTML email makes it easier for
you to interact with our site and makes it easier for us to
interact with you. If you ever want to go back to text-only
emails, just send an email to nohtml@planetall.com. 

- Synchronization - 
PlanetAll is now compatible with popular electronic address
books including Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, and
Palm Pilot.  With a click of a button, the contact
information in your electronic address book will be
accessible on the Web and kept up-to-date for you by the
people in it. Soon, Puma Technology will develop
IntelliSync for PlanetAll that will allow you to
synchronize your calendar as well.  Click here to download

- PlanetPoints Program - 
When you get people to register for PlanetAll, you are
awarded PlanetPoints that are redeemable for frequent flyer
miles, T-shirts, or donations to charity

accrue more by:

	- Telling other people to join PlanetAll and making sure
	they give you credit during the registration process.

- Privacy -


Privacy and security have always been of the utmost
importance to us. PlanetAll's guiding principle is that
your contact information is completely private, as is the
contact information for all of the people in your address
book. Your personal information and any information you
provide about your contacts will not be sold or otherwise
distributed to any third parties without your explicit
permission. PlanetAll's privacy policy

and approved by TRUSTe and The Better Business Bureau
Online, both recognized leaders in online privacy
assurance.  In addition, PlanetAll continues to be involved
in setting industry privacy standards. Recently I
participated in the Public Meeting on Internet Privacy
hosted by the US Department of Commerce and gave a short
talk describing our ability to maintain the privacy and
security of our users' information.
