Asian/European Reporter/Editor Position with Newsbytes

Newsbytes News Network, a division of Post-Newsweek Business
Information, Inc., a Washington Post Company, seeks an experienced
reporter/editor to work fulltime covering breaking technology news
and editing copy from other reporters, and who is based in Asia or
Europe only.

Must be able to work from home or your office 8-hours daily
between the hours of 10-pm Central to 6-am Central -- in Japan
time that's 1pm to 9pm daily; UK time is 4-am to 12-noon. Editing
and reporting for the network takes place remotely via the
Internet, telephone, and our own BBS.

Two years of wire service or electronic news reporting experience
necessary with a strong background in computers, telecommunications,
networking, and the Internet. Applicant must be able to work
unsupervised, and have the ability to work quickly under deadline
pressure. Sound news judgement also a must.

Job entails monitoring news coverage from various sources, writing
breaking news copy, editing the work of other reporters, and
forwarding news leads to other members of the Newsbytes team
during the "US overnight" shift.
