All I ask is a willingness on the part of web designers to consider
feedback from audiences rather than simply talking to themselves.

It's not particularly sexy to suggest that many times simplier is better,
but it is a message I wish more web designers would feel secure enough to
embrace. It doesn't bring applause from your peers but it often better
serves the needs of users.

I was just comparing notes with someone about SportsLine, since that
company was mentioned in a Wall Stree Journal article on Friday as one of
the big two in sports (ESPN being the other). Both of us agree that
Nando.Net is our preferred source of sports news--more comprehensive and
faster both in terms of access and results.
