No way.  We all pay for bandwidth.  Bandwidth reduction is a savings for
everyone.  (You can even use the proxies to refuse pages that are larger
than a standard.  There is a java proxy that you can run locally that will
remove, choose or even compress the images on a page.)

Advertisers will be forced to be creative and break paradigms and more
important
for most of us is that all the advertising will be interactive and offer a
service
that we will have the option to accept.  We will be invisible until WE want
to make contact and use the service.  (A lot less annoying banner ads:-)
This to me is a win/win situation and will speed up positive internet
evolution.
As I said before, many of us are sick of "refried" marketing and publicity
products from other media's.
