I don't believe I've given this list the URL to read a description of that
project. See:
http://www.clearmail.com

This is a project that I am involved in as a co-founder. The person who
came up with the technology is Scott Carter (who among other things runs
the Online-News Web archive site for me). Scott -- scott@cleargate.com --
is the best person to contact if you have questions about ClearMail.

This particular solution to spam gives the *individual* control to eliminate
spam from his/her in-box. It should be considered as part of a total
solution. The other elements -- anti-spam legislation to stop it at the
source; server-side solutions such as BrightLight and MailShield --
combined with an end-user solution can pretty much eliminate the problem
entirely. I don't believe legislation will in anyone's wildest dreams put
more than a dent in the problem; BrightLight/MailShield/SendMail et al will
eliminate a sizable chunk of spam, but nowhere near all. We believe our
scheme will get rid of the rest. It may not be for everyone; but those who
are serious about controlling what arrives in their mailbox will find it
interesting.

(A ClearMail beta for ISPs is within days of being ready.)

I fear I've just steered my own list off-topic, but since Xerxes brought
it up I thought I'd offer a bit of info.
