Dear colleagues:
Aren't surveys a drag?
I'm a graduate student at American University, (Wash., D.C.), School of
Communications, and am also the on-line editor of Education Week on the
Web. http://www.edweek.org.
My final paper at AU concerns ethical issues in on-line journalism. I'd
like to learn how on-line editors are handling the questions raised by this
new medium. I've composed a short survey, containing 12 questions -- it
takes between 5-10 minutes (at
most) to fill out.
DIRECTIONS: (Please do not reply to the list.)
You can either take this survey by: 1) filling out the answers below and
sending them to: mccannjl@concentric.net; or 2) go to:
http://www.concentric.net/~mccannjl/survey.htm and
fill in the blanks there.
I will assume you are willing to be quoted unless you let me know
otherwise.
The results will be posted at:
http://www.concentric.net/~mccannjl/results.htm after Sept. 1, 1998.
Thanks in advance to all those who choose to participate.
Here is the survey if you want to use e-mail
