In a way that is how stories have been unfolding in various online
discussion groups. Everyone contributes his or her take on the situation
and if some of those have eyewitness accounts, you get a dynamic
presentation of the story. Of course, there is a lack of efficiency in this
method and gossip has to be shifted through, but it is participatory
journalism of a sort.
