NO. You might actually be able to make a fair-use defense, but being
that most studios already send out stacks of P.R. photos I think your 
need for a particular photo that might have, say, poster resale value 
could be difficult to justify. Why not just ask the studio's P.R. 
people?

Post them as such, with similar play as given the original, and 
modify the archived version of the story. If the error was serious, 
like to the correction note from the archived version with a note 
saying something like "earlier versions of this story contained an 
error."

Yes, and you should. Do a screen capture before making any major 
design changes.
