Thanks Larry, I really enjoyed this conversation about your dad. My dad and
mom have both died in the past 3 years and your conversation reminded me of
how much I appreciate the flow from generation to generation.

And no, I haven't gone away. Just spending more time immersed in preparing
for leading Wisdom. Having more e-mail conversations with the Phila. Wisdom
community and not having as much time to speak here.

I enjoyed your classifications, identifying our roles on the stage of
accountability.

I thought it revealing that you think me not a say-it-like-it-is
accountability. It never occurred to me that might have people wonder where
I am about something. It's been my pattern to do that kind of conversation
privately and I've done so in response to much of what's been said here.
Then again public authenticity and integrity go hand in hand and I can see
it stifled my authenticity in this group. So here it is as I've said it
elsewhere.

Janet hasn't killed me off. I've been attacked before by those wanting to
lash out, lying in waiting. She's not responding to me (though someone
will need to tell her because she'll be deleting my message before she
reads it ...... "having considered the source" and all that. Actually it's
been a contribution and I acknowledge Janet for that, as I've taken on so
much in the last 6 weeks at work and with Wisdom that I don't have as much
time to ponder. Janet's message had me realize I need to shift to action
conversations more in my life, so my conversations are briefer.

VIPs conversation didn't strike me as laying around stuff. We've all heard
about being "fucked till we couldn't walk" many times before in our high
school / college locker rooms when we're trying to impress the other guys
with our virility. I told VIP in a private message that it wasn't
appropriate for a Landmark leader, given what Landmark is up to in the
world and he needed to speak to his center manager for coaching. He
recovered by claiming "intent to shock" then lead off into the "hurt"
conversation. From my watching, a clever deflection of an intelligent guy
and not worth pursuing. He got the message.

Like you, I've enjoyed Seth's poetry which I understand and don't
understand and always has me listen. I've also listened him move to be more
vulnerable in recent conversations. He is for me the accountability
"reconsider".

And Ray and Gail and Lucinda and Jean and Renee, Andrew and my buddy Steve.
All generating openings, even when they claim nothing worthwhile is being
said. This conversation has been a rich one for me. One I look forward to
being in and continuing to read though I may say less. I find myself
wondering what will happen when the course is over? Will this go away? Like
you speaking your dad, I am speaking us. The us that have been engaged in
and listening to this conversation, deleting this conversation, annoyed by
this conversation, in relationship in this conversation.

Thank you for the privilege.
