In case you missed it....& supporting my "Future of the Internet"
  prediction,

   		Excerpts from CBS's MarketWatch.

Cisco announced it will supply high speed gigabit routers to
America Online Inc. Cisco said its products will increase the
speed and capacity of AOL's Internet service.

Eventually, the routers could help AOL offer
so-called quality of service features for which customers would
pay extra in order to guarantee immediate delivery of high-priority
   communications,

Cisco said. Such features are required in order for voice or
video traffic to be delivered without interruption over
   the Internet.

AOL is currently supporting more than 730,000 simultaneous
users more than 18,800 Web hits per second. (end of excerpts)

   			Full Circle

Seems like the ISP industry has done a full circle...in that
everyone on the early inet-access & com-priv lists were poking
fun at the AOLuser's ignorances of the Internet.
