I know that many folks on this list were New Century Network affiliates who were very interested in the email prototype that NCN was testing just before its demise.  So I thought you all would like to know that Irene Pedranza and David Villeger, both former NCN'ers, have been working on developing a service similar to what NCN developed but more scalable and bullet-proof. 


Their service is now up and running at http://www.cheetahmail.com.  I got taken on a guided tour of it recently and was pretty impressed with the ease of use of setting up email-client-specific services.  This means that people whose email client can handle mhtml within the body of their messages get theirs that way while those using older clients like Eudora 3.0 get the html as attachments.
