I haven't seen the full run of stats, but don't forget that 50 million
hits speaks as much to page composition - images, additional links, etc.
- as it does about numbers of users.
Is there a number floating out their for page requests or visits?
That would be perhaps more valuable in debating the impact on
journalism. And certainly in debating site usage vs. the number of
voters and non-voters.
