The CNN guy did talk about hits...I wonder if he was talking about page
views or reeling out the old graphics included figure?
Repeat visits must account for a large number of these.
The site I help run, www.cricket.org, had 500,000 page views in a day for
the first time on Wednesday because of our coverage of a cricket game
between India and South Africa (rather than the election). We were all
pretty chuffed. But it looks a meagre effort compared to the election
coverage. At least we didn't spend a penny in putting it together...
