Which means we ARE related (we actually may have to go all the way back
to Jon Rexford Ballard (The KingMaker), but if your father went bald buy
the time he was mid-30s it's the family curse. My grandfather told me
the ancients' stories.

There are actually many Ballards in the U.S. We came over in 1812,
smuggled to Ireland, then to the U.S. We're supposedly all related.
Cromwell had tried to exterminate the "KingMakers" to make sure that we
didn't train another king of England. We also have an assortment of
alchoholics and Civil War Deserters as well. :-).

As for myself, I'm an internet "pioneer", and at the leading edge of
electronic journalism.

At the moment, I am working for standard and poor's, after leaving Dow
Jones. Stock brokers make a great deal of money by being the "first to
Know anything". For a feed which can give them infnnformation
worth $3 million an hour, they don't seem to mind paying $300/month.
Even a delayed feed (15 minutes) is worth $30/month)

You actually have the right idea. You can set up a web server for your
realtor friends and put their listings on the web, along with information
from the Chamber of commerce, townships, and town boards. By "Fluffing"
your server with non-commercial information relevant to your primary
product (Real Estate), you becom a "primary source. You can invite other
web servers to request links (for wich you receive a cut.
