Nowdays, it seems like many newspapers are giving out URLs and e-mail 
addresses.  I remember when Dow Jones first put up it's WAIS server, we 
would put out the address and watch 25,000 users download the wais client 
and start hammering our database.  When we put up the Web Front-End, we
could watch the number of hits jump within seconds after the interviews 
with Brewster Kahle.  Our biggest problem was keeping up with the demand 
(we sometimes took 4 minutes to return query results because there were 
200 queries in the queue),

Someone said about a year ago.  "Putting your e-mail address on your 
business card is passe', chic is including your URL and PGP key :-).
