I haven't seen a 2.4 releas of Mosaic for Windows. I would guess that is
the spyglass version?

Unix 2.5 has the same stuff. Plus a few more.

Correction here: (from NCSA copyright notice)
* The UI grants you (hereafter, Licensee) a license to use the Software *
* for academic, research and internal business purposes only, without a *
* fee. Licensee may distribute the binary and source code (if released) *
* to third parties provided that the copyright notice and this statement *
* appears on all copies and that no charge is associated with such *
* copies. *
*
This is similar to the standard GPL.
* Licensee may make derivative works. However, if Licensee distributes *
* any derivative work based on or derived from the Software, then *
* Licensee will (1) notify NCSA regarding its distribution of the *
* derivative work, and (2) clearly notify users that such derivative *
* work is a modified version and not the original NCSA Mosaic *
* distributed by the UI. *
This is the good part. You can make money on it if you want to, but you
have to negotiate for the rights. A (tax deductible contribution to
NCSA?)
The source I got had a file (HTAuth.c) that included BASIC and Public
Key, and has a comment /* Other authentication routines go here */
This is where you can plug in ssp, shttp, or 3rd party (First Virtual,
Digicash...) authentication. This is in libwww2 directory.
I also notice support for SGML. I haven't really explored this yet.
Anyone else figured this out?
