Thank you all for the numerous email replies to the aforementioned article.

For those of you interested in what it all boils down to - here's what
advice I got:

Easy DTD development can be a reality with the following products:

- Ottawa based MicroStar's Near & Far available at: http://www.microstar.com
  This product apparently gives you an intuitive graphical view of your
  DTD as you build it. Even grandma & the dog should be able to do it!

- easyDTD available at:  ftp.ifi.uio.no  at /pub/SGML/EasyDTD/EasyDTD.zip
  This product apparently builds an SGML skeleton from your elements.

Another interesting product from Infrastructures for Information Inc. of
Toronto may be of interest to some; it is an SGML server for use with
3rd party apps & development environments and does all the SGML stuff for
you, making the other apps SGML capable. It is available at: www.i4i.org

Please keep the comments and ideas comming. Seems to me that SGML may be
one of Canada's best kept secrets... Thanks.

Not so frustrated anymore,

Benoit Maneckjee :->
