One of the difficulties of sharing the Forum in any printed media is that
I don't have the benefit of the dialogue, being able to build a
relationship with someone, being able to identify with them, where they
would like to have a "breakthrough" (accomplish something beyond what they
thought was possible).

I often find that there is a spectrum between "shock" and "preaching" that
is hard to maintain, but between which, action is caused and results are
produced. I've already said I'm into fulfilling "outrageous"
possibilities. Within the definitition of outrageous is the the word
"shocking". Making Assertions that seem outrageous can be an effective
method of determining which areas a person is committed to.

I'm reluctant to share about LEC on the internet because I can "make a
mess" just as easily as I can "cause a miracle".

My hope is that when someone is engaging in a dialogue with me, that I can
engage with them at their viewpoint. When a lurker posts, it's usually
because they have something at stake.

People who do the Forum undergo a shocking "Transformation". In the
matter of less than a week, they complete a process that takes anywhere
from 6 months to 6 years in other technologies. Alcoholics and Addicts
who complete the 12 steps of A.A. within 1 year experience a
transformation such that they can powerfully maintain sobriety for 5-50
years.

Books such as those by Deprak Chopra or Steven Covey provide
similar insights, but do not include the discipline of intense coaching,
action, and ackowledgement that turns those insights into a life altering
exprience in 3 days. More often, the distinctions are practiced, first
casually, then more rigourously, until they become habits.

In Landmark Courses, people are being coached to take immediate actions,
to share with partners, and to call people in their "real lives" and shift
relationships with friends and family [they usually want to know "what's
up", like you've been in an accident or something, they are concerned, I
had to tell my family a little about the course just so they wouldn't be
worried about me].

In my own case, I was so excited and motivated out of doing the Forum that
I started making substantial changes in nearly every area of my life, just
because I could. When I have a sudden "shift", I often find myself making
substantial changes ranging from new relationships, to accepting a new
job, to moving to a city I've always wanted to experience. I've even
gotten (and disposed of) most of the "Toys" I ever wanted.

Sam, you have coached me in the past, and I hope you will continue to do
so. I find that it helps a great deal. I to apologize for arrogant or
intrusive content I have posted and probably will post. I will try to
keep it to a minimum, but I am human and I do sometimes get carried away
with my enthusiasm.
