Like any good publisher, an on-line publisher needs to distinguish which
writers can cause or generate revenue, and which are just good "filler
noise".  Print publishers pay a premium for Dear Abby because there are
advertizers who want ads on her page or opposite.

If what you write is interesting, and people come to see it frequently,
the publisher will want more of your work.  If you write "yesterday's news
today", you will probably get a lot of minimums.
