Considering this is the season for political news, I wonder
how online news publications are going to handle coverage of
alternative political partys now that the news hold is not so
limited. Will you help your readers learn more about the many
alternatives that room did not allow coverage for in the print
version?

On researching a friend's request, I ran across the Harvard
site for 3d party information sources at
http://ksgwww.harvard.edu/third-party/sources.html

Along with M'sieur Perot, perhaps the most visible third party,
we have a group called the Natural Law Party, whose slogan is
"Promoting Conflict-Free Politics for a Problem-Free Nation".
They have a 50-point action plan to revitalize America.

Then there's the 'Third Party Pages' of University of Houston
at http://info.lib.uh.edu/politics/third.htm. This one has a link
to perhaps the definitive list of third parties at
http://comeback.com/countdown/parties.html, which includes:

    o American Conservative Party
o Communisty Party of teh U.S.A.
    o Constitution Party
    o Democratic Party
    o Democratic Socialists of America
    o Green Party
    o Labor Party
    o Libertarian Party
    o Light Party
    o Natural Law Party
    o The New Party
    o Patriot Party
    o Progressive Labor Party
    o Reform/Independence Party
    o Republican Party
    o Social Democrats
    o Socialist Party USA
    o Socialist Workers Party
    o Third Parties
    o U.S. Taxpayers Party
o United We Stand America (Perot's birthplace)
    o We the People

So if you need sources for political information to disseminate,
this list should certainly provide enough material to at least liven
up the discussion.
