Hi,

I've long believed that e-mail is going to play a very great role in online
publishing, particularly as it starts to support more and more rich content.

So, I've finally got a service to back me up. The Economist has started two
once-a-week, for free mailing lists. Initially, they editorial is straight
from the paper: we had two excellent round-ups of business and political
news. Fortuantely for me, they were almost ideal for e-mail relying on
concision and wit. (They are arranged as a serious of short paragraphs,
covering different parts of the world). 

I think it's great . . . and can only get better.

If you want to try the instructions are simple:

join economist-politics
as a message body (subject not needed)
to newscaster@postbox.co.uk
for Politics This Week

and 

join economist-business
as a message body (subject not needed)
to newscaster@postbox.co.uk
for Business This Week
