The American Reporter, which was the first daily newspaper with
original, general interest content to start wholly on the Internet, has
put out an email edition six days a week since April, 1995. It is a good
way to get the news to people, and far more effective than the Web, I
think. It's like the difference between home delivery and newsstand and
box sales.
