A Special note to those of you that visited CareerSite last
week. Some of you may have experienced performance concerns
in the form of slow access times and failed password
authentications. We thank you for your patience and
apologize for any inconvenience resulting from this.
The performance concerns were due to an unprecedented growth
in the volume of users on CareerSite. We have, thanks to
all of you, increased our site traffic by 2 1/2 times in the
last month and a half and that had taken a toll on our
current software/hardware set-up.
As of this weekend, we have made a number of internal
changes to both our software and hardware that should result
in significantly improved performance of CareerSite. We
appreciate all you have done for us and plan to continue to
provide you with the best job opportunities available
anywhere on the Net.
Have you told your friends about CareerSite? Please do that
too. The more free candidate members join CareerSite, the
more employers will want to search our candidate database.
That means there is a greater chance of an employer seeing
and selecting you for their positions. To sweeten the pot a
