Network World Fusion, Network World's online edition, is looking
for a reporter to take over and expand a daily beat on the Internet
and the networking industry.

We're looking for somebody with the ability to break through the
jargon, turn a story around quickly and score a scoop or two. The
beat will focus primarily on emerging Internet/intranet technologies,
although it will also involve writing up short items on other facets
of the networking industry, as well as helping to "extend" articles
from the weekly Network World with additional online material.

Some daily experience is preferred, as is knowledge of the Internet,
the networking industry and HTML. However, we're willing to train
the right person - we've learned it's a lot easier to teach a good
reporter about technology than it is to teach a techie how to write.

The job will be based at our Framingham, Mass. offices. Network
World is IDG's newsweekly for managers of large corporate networks,
with a circulation of about 150,000. We offer a competitive salary
and benefits package as well as plenty of room for advancement -
both at Network World and across IDG (our current online reporter
is being promoted within Network World).

You can send a resume and clips (or pointers to online work) to me
at the e-mail address below, via fax at (508) 820-7433 or by USPS at:
