Again, I quibble.  I've been surprised that no one has really commented 
(unless I missed it) about Netscape 3.0's ability to accept by e-mail 
Webpages, which then open up within your own browser.  There would be 
nothing to prevent you from sending big webfiles with a complete 
e-newspaper or e-magazine direct to the reader by email -- 
perhaps broken up into a number of messages, by newspaper 
section.  To do this on a large scale will require bigger broadband 
capabilities than are widely available at present.

To quote the old commercials ("is it live or is it Memorex") is it still 
the web if you send HTML pages/applets directly to the user/reader rather 
than require them to come to a website?  Or do you want to call this 
Internet multimedia e-publishing comparable to the printing and delivery 
of hard copy publications, rather than the creation of one website (or 
one digital copy of a publication) which is visited by many people.

>From a publishing standpoint, this seems similar to the CD-ROM hybrids
that include connections to webpages for additional information, dynamic
updating, etc.
