Hi everyone.
I'm trying to get a sense of how my colleagues who are Web-publishing
print papers have automated the process.
Right now, the way we're getting stuff out of Quark, into ascii, and
then into HTML is primitive at best. (In large part because we're PC
based and can't use all that nice Mac Quark-to-HTML software.)
Have you found that off-the-shelf software works for you? Or do our
typically complicated production requirements for print, compounded
by our typically complicated HTML templates, confound that kind of
software?
If you've hired consultants/programmers/etc., I'd love to know about
that, too.
