HTML documents *with* image files can be delivered to any user of
Netscape's embedded email. 

While Netscape's mail reader doesn't fit Donovan White's description of
an "acceptable" mail platform (it does not provide filtering), it is
rapidly being adopted, especially by new users. I don't think it will be
long before either Netscape provides filtering and other advanced
features, or other e-mail programs begin to function as Netscape
plug-ins, so multimedia mail is not so difficult to implement.

This gives us a way to integrate the "push" model of delivery with the
"pull" model by creating graphical e-mail products that maximize our
brand identities and interoperate with our Web sites.
