New HTML-Enabled Version of NewsPage Direct is One of the First Offerings 
in Netscape's Inbox Direct Service; Gives Users News from Over 600 Sources

with Netscape (Nasdaq: NSCP), its NewsPage Direct(TM) service will be
available to Netscape Navigator(TM) 3.0 users. The service is one the
first available as part of Netscape's Inbox Direct(TM) service, a
breakthrough e-mail service that builds on the core mail functionality
unique to Netscape Navigator. 

Individual, Inc. will be premiering its new HTML version of NewsPage
Direct in this special offer to Netscape users. This powerful enhancement
allows Individual to send personalized news Web pages directly to users'
e- mail boxes each weekday morning. Each issue contains relevant story
headlines and news briefs for up to 20 relevant stories drawn from over
600 information sources, organized according to the users' preference,
with direct links to the full-text version of the story.

newspaper/cyberzine delivered directly to your e-mail box each day,
complete with hyperlinks, graphics, and Web page formatting," said John

In addition to the new HTML format, Netscape users will be able to use
NewsPage's updated "quick-registration" form to both register for the
service and set-up their news profiles in a matter of minutes. "This new
expedited registration process allows users to quickly set up their
specialized news profiles, and makes it easy for them to modify their news
profiles as their interests change," said Jay Campbell, Product Manager
