The mass market may be waiting for the theatre to be finished, but there
are several million (2-5) of us who have been in our New Haven seats for
awhile,  and we want the show to go on.  We do not immediately need
Broadway production values.......a modest budget show will do fine.  And,
earn cash for the producers for honing the production in anticipation of
the" great white way....."
