I am an attorney involved with new media projects in New York. In the course
of events I have discovered that your success or failure is in large part
determined  by access to decision makers. Knowing whom to call
is half the battle. Over the past two years i have accumulated a roster of
media contacts and Net heavies. Recently, I have been approached by a
ISP firm that wants to purchase my data.  I have been assured that an
the information shall be used ethically for pitching ideas to the
appropiate parties.

But I have two questions.

Should this type of information be distributed and to whom?

Personally, I don't want to be accused of being a bottom feeder. On the
other hand  many of the contacts on my list are leading proponents
of the new economy.


Should this type of information be sold?

A popular Net aphroism states "information wants to be free", but what if
the information represents hours of dogged research.
