This is Deepak Agarwal from Sun-Sentinel newspaper in South Florida. I need your 
help, if you can. I recently got an ISDN line at home for our pagination support 
for X-based applications. I have a windows 95 based PC serially connected to 
BitSurferPro ISDN modem from Motorola to ISDN line. I have configured that modem 
correctly. 

The line is fine. Motorola and Bell South has checked and confirmed the 
configuration. I can login and use any BBS or go to any ISDN dial-in internet 
site but not to the SPARC 5 (having the ISDN Sbus card running Solaris 2.5)  
using single link PPP with in our company.

I am using windows95 dial-up connection to dial into this machine. Since past 
week or so, I have been working with SUN Support and Motorola to solve this 
issue. I have provided them  with logs from /var/opt/SUNWisdn, isdntrace after I 
had turned the detailed logging on the system but I am getting very little 
success.

We are using SunISDN 1.0.3 with Solaris 2.5. We have CCI Denmark coming in 
everyday multilink from Denmark thru their SUN workstation with no problem.

Thru windows95, I get a single link connection for good 40 secs. When I click on 
continue and then click OK on  verifying username and password dialog box in the 
dial-up connection, I get rejected from the computer. Previously, I was running 
CHAP, then PAP and now no authentication on SUNSupport's suggestion, same 
results with either tries. I am really frustrated?????? Uggh!!!

Have you seen configuration like this..going from windows95 to SUN box. I will 
highly appreciate, if you can share that info from your vast knowledge base.
