I tried -- and, in fact, still am trying -- to put together exactly such a
thing.

Part of the problem is that the real experts who know the stuff -- and more
important know how to teach it -- can and do make big bucks conducting
expensive, esoteric seminars.

Meanwhile every organization that has a charter seems more than willing to
conduct thousands of nickle-and-dime sessions, all of which are so
rudimentary as to be virtually useless.

Frankly -- and I'm not talking specifically about any of them mentioned
here -- a lot of these seem designed mostly to tout the fact that the
organization involved has people among its membership who have put
something online. Seemingly anyone with a homepage is out there teaching
seminars on how HTML consists of commands placed between < and > symbols.

In my estimation, most of the seminars offered or proposed shoot either too
low or too high.
