ComNet comes to town Jan. 29, and Washington Post Digital Ink staffers will 
provide continuous updates from the convention floor. We're taking an 
interactive approach to this one; we'll focus our reporting on answering 
questions from our users.

We'll also have three guests answering users' questions online: MIT Media 
Lab Director Nicholas Negroponte, Netscape CEO James Barksdale, and Sun 
Microsystems Chief Technology Officer Eric Schmidt.

If anyone from online-news has ComNet questions they'd like our staff to 
pursue, or if you'd like to submit a question for Negroponte, Barksdale, or 
Schmidt, send me e-mail. Or you can send it directly to Dan Pacheco, our 
online producer who deserves the credit for pulling this together 
(pachecod@washpost.com).

I'd also be happy to e-mail copies of  the Negoponte/Barksdale/Schmidt 
online  discussions to anyone who's interested.
