It's that time of year again, when professors assign a classroom of 
students to sign up for listservs -- and online-news is no exception. 

I'm currently getting a bunch of new subscription requests from Temple 
University, probably all from the same class. Trouble is, they're sending 
their requests to the list address rather than Majordomo. Fortunately, 
MajorD is catching them all so it's no big deal. (On other, less forgiving 
lists this could cause a riot!)

So, professors who may be telling a classroom of students to sign up for 
and monitor lists, please be careful and give them correct sign-up 
instructions. (Thanks!)

Correct way to sign up for online-news:
Send message to majordomo@planetarynews.com
In BODY of message, type either "subscribe online-news" or 
"subscribe online-news-digest" (the latter for the daily compiled digest 
edition of messages posted that day).
