Consistency, sure, but amplifying your online content strikes me as one of
the prime adavantages of going online. Obviously, your factual content should
be the same -- although if the facts change, you can put the new data online
much faster -- but I don't think the STYLISTIC content needs to be the same
at all.

It's much EASIER, of course, to simply reproduce print versions online,
but does that really address the advantages of having an online presence
to begin with? And will that style of writing carry over to online news
effectively in the long run?
