If you took the time to peruse the list of subscribers to
online-news, you'd have noticed that among the "lurkers" are many of
the heaviest hitters and most influential workers in this industry.
"Shy," "intimidated," "inarticulate"? I think not.
The value of this list lies in the fact that the posts are going to
and often coming from people who actually deal with the issues
discussed. These aren't "interesting discussion topics" here, they're
bread-and-butter issues.
I think you can discount an overabundance of sensitivity when it
comes to professional lists.
