I need a #2 editor who is as good at conceiving original Web and interactive
concepts as s/he is in managing the process and people that bring them to
life. 

This someone has done it before, has a good grasp of multimedia and can
thrive in a start-up chaotic environment.

The ideal candidate can also write, edit and figure out why the computer
won't work at 2 AM. 

The job is New York City-based with Cowles New Media, which is creating an
online service focused on the needs of media and marketing professionals. The
Cowles print titles include Folio:, Catalog Age, Direct and Inside Media.
