The following press release was distributed locally here in the Seattle, WA
area. Since it announces new online newspapers, I thought it would be
appropriate for this group.

WOODINVILLE NEWSPAPER GROUP
JOINS MEDIONET ON-LINE NETWORK

REDMOND, Wash. -- June 5, 1995 -- Medio Multimedia Inc. is pleased to
announce that the Woodinville Weekly, Northlake News, Valley View and
Redmond Review have become the first affiliates of MedioNet, a hybrid
CD-ROM/on-line network.

"Going on line is great for newspapers and our readers because it allows us
to continually provide important updates and breaking information," said
Carol Edwards, owner of EdPrint Inc., which publishes the papers. " It also
allows our local advertisers to sell their products and services to anyone
on the Internet, and for us to interact with our national advertisers."

The newspapers are accessible through a new on-line service called Northwest
News of Washington State. This affiliation is the first of many that Medio
is entering into with newspapers, magazines and broadcasters, to create a
regional, Internet-based on-line network. This hybrid CD-ROM/on-line network
will allow its users to simultaneously view content from Medio's CD-ROM
Medio Magazine, the Internet and the on-line services of MedioNet's
publishing partners.

"We're especially pleased to be working with Carol Edwards and her staff at
EdPrint, because their willingness to plunge into cyberspace shatters the
myth that small community newspapers are not tuned into new technology,"
said Steve Podradchik, Medio president. "We believe the combination of
community news and Internet content will make MedioNet a valuable business
tool, as well as a rich, entertaining source of Northwest consumer news and
information."

Medio announced last Thursday that it is restructuring to accelerate the
development of the network and focus more resources on Medio Magazine. An
upcoming issue of the magazine will contain proprietary software and
pre-programmed links that will allow users to seamlessly combine multimedia
components from the magazine, the Internet and MedioNet. The result will be
a richer, more personalized on-line experience than is commercially
available today, Podradchik said.

Each month, subscribers of Northwest News of Washington State will get 40
hours of on-line time with full Internet access and unlimited electronic
mail service. They also will have access to original content from Medio's
award-winning documentary and lifestyle CD-ROM titles that will reside on
MedioNet. Subscriptions are available by credit card by dialing
1-800-788-3866 and are $19.95 per month. Additional hours are available for
$1 each.

For a limited time, subscriptions to Northwest News of Washington State and
MedioNet are available at an introductory price of $9.95 per month for the
first two months. If you already have Internet service you can visit
Northwest News at . Medio's home page is
