According to PR Newswire on June 15: "The Newspaper Association of America
(NAA) announced a new international standard for distribution of news for
both electronic and traditional publishing today at the G7 Economic Summit
meeting of leaders from key industrial nations in Halifax, Nova Scotia."

Apparently based on SGML, I assume this is the long awaited for replacement
for ANPA format. Maybe we'll finally be able to get parseable tables and
actually be able to figure out where the bylines are!

Does anyone on the list have a pointer to the text of this standard?
