I'm the publisher of a small weekly paper and two monthly journals in
central CA. I've been reading ONLINE-NEWS in hopes that somehow I'd find the
answer to 2 burning questions:
   1. How do I get my pubs. involved? There's a BBS in a nearby city that
has offered to put us online, but I want to know what I am doing, and what
options are available, before I jump on the bandwagon.
   2. How in the world do I pay for all this? the time-sink costs alone are
prohibitive, plus the AOL costs, phone costs, and maintenance of equipment.
In addition, my writers seem to want to be paid for their work. Alas, my
wife and I are the only ones willing to work for free or for peanuts any more
(what's this world coming to...).
How do we incorporate advertising into our online product?
Any and all ideas welcome. Thanks, Len Wilcox
