Time magazine is under heavy attack from Net experts, as well as other
journalists, for its cover story last week about "Cyberporn." The story was
based on research by an undergraduate electrical engineering student at
Carnegie Mellon University - but the so-called study is riddled with errors
of research and fact, that Time's adoption of it as cover story material
calls into question their own integrity as a news organization.

HotWired has produced a special report on the Time "Cyberporn" cover story
and the "study" it's based on, with contributions from Vanderbilt
University professors Donna Hoffman and Tom Novak, and HotWired's own "Ned
Brainerd." More will be added as the week continues.
