You're saying the aol-ers are e-mail participants, right?  In conversations I
have been struck by how many people without direct Internet access (guess we
can't say that anymore because of web browsers, but I mean folks on a
commercial online service) choose the aol mail (because of flash-sessions and
speed) to join net discussion/information lists. And P* e-mail charges per
message for net contacts, I believe.  I agree you will know a lot more in a
year after you have a direct web site for this, and it will be interesting to
see if that changes.
