How the Web Was Won
Subject: Experts? From: "Curt A. Monash" <0006058685@mcimail.com> Date: Mon, 10 Jul 95 10:21 EST

The points about quotable experts have a lot of validity. I've been quoted
a zillion times myself (just plug me into a search engine). Reporters are
looking for people who fill a slot in a story. That works equally well in
stories of high, medium and low integrity.

It's part of the "standard formula" of journalism I hope to see overthrown
in the cybernetic age.

There are three kinds of people in this world: Those who can count and
those who can't.
